I am very bad at... I guess this counts as marketing?

Durham, NC:

This Sunday, once again, Black & Indigenous folk can pick up free plants, courtesy of the Groundhog Autonomous Zone, at Pineywood Park, between 10:30 and 11:30.

Other folk can inquiry about potentially bartering for plants, but every plant we trade is a plant we're not gifting.

If you want to learn more about the GAZ, we put together a public infosheet available at cryptpad.fr/code/#/2/code/view

Notably, we're considering putting together a local reading group for anarchist texts (you can find a form to nominate what we read first through the link above)

We also have a Discord we're turning into an online school for learning about (and practicing) anarchy - mutuals can DM me for an invite to that one, or you can get an invite by becoming a monthly donor to my Ko-Fi,

Alright, that's all the publicity stuff, I think? Here's the plant list:

Stonecrop sedum, bee balm, mountainmint, spearmint, mugwort.

We have a limited number of mullein & chamomile for Black and Indigenous folk who provide herbal care to our community.

DM to arrange pickup!

(Not local but want to help? Share this post! Whenever one of these gets boosted by a few accounts, I end up meeting a new person in the area who wants some plants!)

@emsenn what day(s) is this happening? I noticed it wasn't in the post

Tortoise Mountain Natives Do Not Like English Ivy

It is time to stop Ecological and economic genocide upon people of color. Tortoise Mountain and Turtle Island natives are the original Ecosteaders. Long before European and other settlers with delusions about government-subsidized development in "blocks" of colonizer cash infrastructure, Native Land Before Invasion was organic. And there never were opportunities or roles for any white dudes as a "Chief" Executive Officer. Get out of here and fix the problems plaguing Europe before trying to kill the indigenoUS Earth.
