I'm not the only one saying it's deleterious to waste energy on facebook. Can't be a NASDAQ traded Corp and a B Corp for Public Benefit ... no promised futures go to corrupted entities.

Corruption is measured in what stock market folk call "Market Cap". Remember that a billion is literally 1000 millions. Colonists could never see the future.

To deflate from a billion to 999 million costs the billionaires all their "extra" zeroes. Execute the code accordingly ...

Chocolate should not be a cheap everyday commodity. It should be a rare, occasional treat. And it should be expensive.

The only reason chocolate is cheap is due to exploitation of farmers and workers who've never even tasted the chocolate their work is vital to.

I'd rather pay more or simply miss out than continue to support modern day slavery.

"Mu ni'n nenuaqapnaq pitu'nugumijaq ... "

Means roughly ~ "I did not know my great-grandmother."

Her daughter, my maternal grandmother, passed away in 1972, a little over seven years before I was born. While the US Censuses[1] were taken during the 1800's, at least one of my great grandmothers was not counted as a living, breathing human by colonist standards. Colonists whose ships landed on the East coast may have been fleeing oppression in their initial waves of arrival, but they brought with them insanities of Christianity and capitalism[2], which soon after arrival, they smashed together into a racist government [screenshot 2 describes the 1790 Census taken by George Washington's administration sought to count the numbers of "Whites" with a capital W.]

As a result, the waves of white settlers got bigger and the more people who showed up, the harder it was for them to see the humans who lived here as humans... they saw only the land and each other and invented the first denomination of what has come to be excessive colonial money ... desperate to claim some form of entitlement.

1790 was the first year of the first US Census[3]. It was not a mistake or neglect that failed to count her household as humans ... it was white supremacy, patriarchy and male-dominated society with deliberate intent to exclude non-white, AKA non-European (English and French) language speakers.

Map has several First Nations and unceded territories, peoples, place names on an undefined border between what is present-day US and Canada (the so-called US of A and KKKanada).

Decolonization Is The Reverse Of Gentrification ...

So, probably this is what needs to happen to every building with ivy on it...

"“How do you reverse-gentrify?” asked Flint Jamison, co-founder and president of the Yale Union contemporary arts center. “Give the fucking land back! Turn the keys over.”"

Within a two-week span in August, California saw:

+“fire tornado” just north of Lake Tahoe
+130°F heat in Death Valley
+a largely dry thunderstorm with 11,000 lightning strikes across California over 72 hours, igniting more than 300 wildfires creating the worst air quality in the world
+1 million acres burned
+tens of thousands of people evacuated
+rolling power blackouts
+gray, unhealthy air...

These ghastly scenes all bear links to #ClimateChange...

Living walls, not border walls:

"Oregon is a so-called sanctuary state. The 1987 law states police and other local law enforcement can’t use local resources to detect or apprehend people whose only violation is being in the United States in breach of federal immigration laws."

Foundational improvements continue to be underway at the project in Forest Grove.

The tu'sati[1] includes our rebuilt mud/laundry/utility room. Yay better place for all the extra work needed for the sanitation, cleaning, and quarantine precautions necessary today.

Colonization is so quick to dismiss the intent and efforts of previous generations. Gotta look back much further than 100, 300, even 500 years to get the vibe of a space, gatherings of energies, etc:

[3] ... wasicu are those who sneered at the offer to upcycle (help get upcycled!) our donated remnants of local old growth forest ... because they couldn't be bothered to take out a few old nails! Indie alone removed well over 1000 nails, but she cannot remove all the nails.

In the west, California's burning because of drought, hollywood egotism, climate change, and a mismanaged water crisis fueled by Silicon Valley "ball and chain" of inflated tech stocks making everything worse... .

In the Gulf of Mexico, Cat 4 Hurricane Laura is set to land between Houston and New Orleans... 4' - 7' storm surge putting everybody knee-deep in "uncontainable" losses spread around as thin as oil can... that's the truly "unfortunate" thing about that industry; toxic oil-drilling contaminates spread far and wide, and they cannot be isolated to the industry that much deeper underwater ...

So "of course" the finanical markets are cashing out as wannabe tech elites cash out at the peak of their own deluded insanity. Makes perfect sense, doesn't it?

Got my first close shots of the Asian Openbill (Anastomus oscitans). There were two of them perched on this tree at Kranji Marshes, Singapore, on 23 August 2020.

The Asian Openbill is a large, wading bird in the stork family. As an adult, it has a gap in its mandible, believe to help it to eat snails. They were rarely seen here until last year when large flocks arrived.

The glacier is on the north side of mountain indigenous dwellers called Louwala-Clough (colonsts call it "Mount St Helens"), where it stays shadowed and cool most of the year. As a result, it is growing quickly.

"While most glaciers are starting to recede because of global warming, this one keeps advancing." Additionally, a steady stream of rock and debris from the weathering mountain not only insulates the glacier to keep it from melting, but also contributes to the rapid growth of the glacier itself.

Melg'puguasit, we stand with Wet'suwet'en. Decolonize: "Traditional Ecological Knowledge" (TEK) is the only thing that can help humans as a colonized planet continues to sink deeper into the chaos and destruction of broken, inequitable, and faulty systems that value money over Earth's many forms of life. European words and languages and accounting systems don't belong on Turtle Island. We encourage you to join us on a better path as we build and participate in a more Ecological Democracy that includes #AllThePeople as envisioned by Mark Charles, a Navajo Nation member running as the Independent candidate for President. #LivingWalls, not border walls.
